Clothes
worthkeeping.

We buy vintage that needs work. We fix it, we alter it, then we sell it. Nothing goes on the rail in the state it came in.

What we do

Three ways in.

Every garment gets the same bench, the same hands and the same thread count. Only the brief changes.

Style

A wardrobe edit and a cutting plan. We look at what you own, what you reach for, and what is quietly wrong with the rest.

  • Wardrobe consultation
  • Made-to-measure cutting
  • Fabric sourcing

From $120 · 90 minutes

Alter

Taking in, letting out, shortening, reshaping. The difference between a garment you own and one that looks like it was made for you.

  • Hems and cuffs
  • Waist and seat adjustment
  • Shoulder and sleeve reset

From $35 · 3 day turnaround

Repair

Visible or invisible, your choice. Moth holes, blown seams, worn elbows and broken zips, all mended to last.

  • Darning and reweaving
  • Zip and lining replacement
  • Sashiko and visible mending

From $25 · walk-ins welcome

The shop

One-off pieces, finished by hand.

Small runs and single garments from the bench. What sells out stays sold out.

How it works

Four steps, no mystery.

  1. Bring it in

Drop by with the garment, or book a slot if you would rather have the bench to yourself.

  2. Get pinned

We fit it on you, pin it, and talk through what is possible and what is not. Estimates are given before anything is cut.

  3. We work

Most alterations take three days. Complex reconstruction takes two weeks. You will hear from us either way.

  4. Wear it out

Final fitting in the shop. If anything still pulls, it goes back on the bench at no charge.

About us

We do not just flip vintage.

Plenty of shops buy old clothes, steam them, and put the price up. We do not work that way. Every piece we sell has been on the bench first. If we cannot fix it, we do not sell it.

  • We repair it. Holes, split seams, worn cuffs, dead zips and gone linings, before anything else happens.
  • We alter it. Old clothes were cut for other bodies. We recut so they fit people now.
  • We say what we did. Every listing tells you the damage we found and the work we put in.
